This property presented a blank canvas for it's new owners, who wanted a relaxed and updated classic decor.  First order was to freshen the wall color in the the open areas with a soft, warm taupe.  A darker shade was used behind the mirror over the fireplace for depth and accent.

An understated color theme of cream and peach create a quiet yet elegant mood in the living areas.  Reproduction 18th and 19th century European pieces reside comfortably with the more contemporary pieces such as the arm chairs flanking the fireplace.

The dining alcove was bathed in deep wine tones with the tray ceiling painted silver metallic for light reflection and to accentuate the beaded crystal chandelier.

Rich fabrics, sumptuous textures and awesome accessories combine to create a luxurious but liveable home.

Photographed before completion, the china cabinet for the niche in the dining area, area rug for the entry and tapestry for the stairway wall had not been delivered.
